We, from Shree Sanathana Dharma Aalayam / Jakarta Murugan Temple, sincerely invite all parents and children to attend the sacred ceremony “Pada Sewanam” on Monday, 20 October 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, in celebration of Deepavali, 5127 Kaliyuga.
This sacred ceremony is a cherished cultural tradition that expresses our deep reverence for Matha, Pitha, and Guru — the Mother, Father, and Teacher, who hold the highest place of honor and respect in one’s life, second only to the Divine.
During this meaningful event, children will wash the feet of their parents as an act of love and gratitude, and they will also pay homage to the temple’s Gurukkal, our revered priest.
A vegetarian breakfast will be served, and each child will receive a token of blessing (Deepawali Gift) in appreciation of their participation by the Temple Management.
We warmly encourage all parents and children to join us in reviving this beautiful tradition of devotion and respect that has been long forgotten by many.
